Subscription Terms

Your plan, in plain terms.

A Hydronate subscription renews on a schedule so you never run out. Nothing about it is buried. This page states what you are charged, how often, what you can change, and how to stop — in language you can actually read.

The Agreement

What you are agreeing to.

Starting a subscription authorizes us to charge your payment method on a repeating schedule until you cancel. These are the terms of that authorization, and they apply to every plan we offer regardless of how often it bills.

Your billing interval

Your plan bills on whatever interval was shown on the offer you bought — and only that one. Depending on what was on sale when you subscribed, that could be every month, every two months, every quarter, once a year, or another schedule entirely.

The interval is stated on the offer before you check out, confirmed in your order confirmation email, and visible any time in your account. If those three ever disagree, tell us and we will honour whichever is most favorable to you.

What each renewal charges

Every renewal bills the recurring price for your plan and interval, plus tax and shipping where they apply, to the payment method on file. The recurring price is displayed beside the plan at checkout before you buy anything.

If your first order was discounted, renewals bill at the ongoing price that was shown next to it — not at the intro price. Longer intervals ship more product per order, so a single charge is larger even when the cost per day is lower.

When the first renewal lands

One full interval after your first order, unless the offer stated something different. A plan that bills every two months renews roughly two months out; an annual plan renews roughly a year out.

The exact date is in your account from the moment you subscribe, and it is repeated in the reminder email before every charge.

How long it runs

Until you cancel it. There is no fixed term, no minimum number of orders, and no cancellation fee — and that is true of every interval we offer. A longer-interval plan is not a longer commitment; it simply bills less often.

The reminder you get

We email you before every renewal — three days ahead by default — with the amount, the charge date, and one-click links to skip, reschedule, change or cancel. Plans that bill only once or twice a year get the same notice.

Keep support@hydronate.com out of your spam folder so a renewal never catches you off guard.

Your authorization

Checking out on a subscription offer authorizes Hydronate to charge your payment method on the stated interval, at the stated recurring price, until you cancel. That authorization is given electronically at checkout.

You can withdraw it at any time by canceling your plan — no reason required, and nothing else about your account changes.

Every date that matters — your next charge, your next delivery, your renewal price — is shown in your account and repeated in the reminder email before each renewal.
Pricing

What renewals actually cost.

Most confusion about subscriptions comes from one gap: the price you paid today versus the price you pay next time. Here is how we handle both, including when we are testing more than one plan at once.

Intro & promotional offers

After the first one.

Many of our offers give you a lower price on the first order. When one does, the offer shows both numbers before you buy: what you pay today, and what you pay each cycle after that. The second number is what renewals bill at.

An introductory price applies to the first order only unless the offer explicitly says otherwise. Bundles, welcome offers and site-wide promotions work the same way — a discount applies to the order it was applied to, not to every future order.

If you ever cannot tell which price you are on, email us and we will send you the exact figures on your plan.

Different plans

Many schedules, same rules.

The interval, the price and any intro terms shown on the offer you bought are the ones that apply to you
We run different plans at different times, so someone else may be billed on a different schedule than you — neither plan is more or less binding
Every plan we offer is cancel-any-time, with no fee and no minimum number of orders, whether it bills every few weeks or once a year
Changing your plan later never applies retroactively; new terms take effect from your next renewal forward
If we retire a plan we do not move you off it — you keep your interval and your price until you change or cancel it yourself

Your live terms always sit in two places you control: your order confirmation email and your account.

Your Controls

Everything you can change yourself.

You should never have to email a human to adjust your own plan. Every change below is self-serve, takes effect from your next renewal, and costs nothing.

Change your interval

Move to a longer or shorter schedule whenever you like. The new interval applies from your next renewal forward.

Skip or pause

Push the next shipment out without canceling. Skip a single cycle, or pause the plan until you want it back.

Reschedule the date

Move your next charge to a date that suits you — before a trip, after payday, whenever works.

Change what is in it

Switch flavor, size or quantity, or swap to a different product entirely, without starting over.

Update payment

New card, new expiry date, new billing details — all self-serve, and never over email or the phone.

Change your address

Update where it ships before the next order is packed. Shipping and tax recalculate from the new address.

Canceling

Leaving is as easy as joining.

How to cancel

Three ways, no maze.

1 Open your subscription in your account and choose cancel — it goes through immediately, with no approval step
2 Reply to any renewal reminder email and ask us to cancel
3 Email support@hydronate.com from the address on the order and we will confirm in writing

There is no phone call, no retention script you have to sit through, no cancellation fee, and no penalty for canceling before a longer-interval plan has renewed.

Timing

Cancel before it bills.

Canceling stops every future charge from the moment it goes through. Do it any time before your next renewal processes and you will not be billed again. You keep whatever product you have already received.

Once a renewal has already processed, the order moves toward fulfillment quickly. Email us as soon as you notice — if it has not shipped we will usually cancel and refund it, and if it has, our refund policy takes over from there.

The Fine Print

Everything else, stated once.

If a payment fails

We retry a failed charge a few times over several days and email you to update the card. If it still cannot be collected we pause your plan rather than cancel it, so you keep your interval and your price when you come back.

Price changes

We email you before any change to your recurring price takes effect, with enough notice to change your interval or cancel first. A price change never applies retroactively to an order that has already been charged.

Shipping and tax

Shipping and tax are calculated per order against the address on file, so they can move if you relocate or if local rates change. Both are itemized in the renewal reminder before the charge goes through.

Shipping policy

Stock and substitutions

If a flavor you subscribe to is unavailable we contact you before changing anything. We would rather delay your order by a few days than ship you something you did not choose.

Long pauses

A plan left paused for a long stretch may eventually be closed out, and we always email before that happens. Starting a new plan afterwards takes a minute — though the pricing available then may differ.

Who can make changes

Manage your plan from the email address the order was placed with. For your security we cannot make subscription changes, share plan details, or cancel on behalf of anyone who is not the account holder.

Disputes and chargebacks

If a charge surprises you, email us before your bank — we can usually refund it the same day. A chargeback locks the order with your bank for weeks and we cannot refund an amount that is already under dispute.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page as our plans change. Anything material to how you are billed gets an email first, and it applies going forward only — never to a charge you have already authorized.

How this fits together

These terms sit alongside our Terms of Service and our refund policy. Where the terms stated on a specific offer differ from this page, the offer you actually bought is the one that governs your plan.

Before you go

Most cancellations are a settings problem.

Arriving too fast? Wrong flavor? Want to bill less often? Nearly every reason people leave is something we can change in about thirty seconds — and we would rather change it than lose you.
